persona or personalization

Just now i installed firefox on my father’s laptop and figured out different themes to set up. Interesting thing is, they have written “create your personas and personalize look on your firefox“. As far as my knowledge goes, generally persona is a word used by designers, do non-designers, non techy people use word “persona”.
I was wondering how many people really understood the term. By the way, i added “tiger” theme for the cause of saving tigers as we have only 1411 tigers left.

I was going from Mumbai airport to my hometown Bhuj (Gujarat). I came across an interesting error message on a flight diplaying computer (image shown below). 
The question is not whether i am able to see those flights, but question comes is, can’t we make a context aware system which recognizes the context and behaves accordingly? I was standing there for 20 mins. and it didn’t change. It showed the same error massage.
Small but i feel an interesting issue to work out !!! isn’t it?
